Which straps does Boop support?

Boop is intended for WHOOP 5.0 and WHOOP MG straps used with a compatible iPhone. WHOOP 4.0 is not yet supported.

Compatibility can change with strap firmware, iOS, Bluetooth behavior, and Apple Health availability. Support here describes Boop’s tested scope, not a guarantee for every configuration.

How does Boop fit next to the official app?

This comparison is factual, not a ranking. Boop is a separate local utility with a narrower job: move supported strap data into Apple Health on your iPhone. It is not a replacement for the official wearable platform experience.

What about Apple Health?

Apple Health is an optional source of longer-term context and a destination for permitted exports. Local strap processing continues when Health export is off. Available data types depend on your iOS version, region, hardware, and permissions. Health export can be deferred by iOS, especially while a device is locked.

Can other apps read the same Health records?

Apps such as Bevel may read records from Apple Health if you separately authorize them. Boop does not send data directly to Bevel, is not affiliated with Bevel, and cannot guarantee how another app interprets Apple Health records.

Is Boop affiliated with WHOOP?

Boop is an independent app and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by WHOOP. WHOOP names are used only to state factual device compatibility.
